What is the GPPA, INC.?

It is a non-profit Florida corporation composed of volunteer members. While the GPPA, Inc. works in cooperation with Florida Park Service officials, it is an independent organization.

What is its purpose?

State funds and personnel are limited. The GPPA, Inc. works with the State Park to provide resources beyond those that are available through the state budget. Financially, the GPPA, Inc. represents supplemental funding that would otherwise never be available for the Park.
However, the work of the GPPA, Inc. goes beyond collecting money. Volunteers work to secure grants & donations, plan & staff special events & programs, conduct historical research & keep the public aware of the Park and its needs. Commitment to the Park ensures that the Gamble Plantation will be preserved for future generations. By serving as a ‘guardian’ organization, the GPPA, Inc. protects while improving the Park.
